Answer: Storage Master Pro will run on any PC with Windows 2000, XP, Vista (Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions), or Windows 7 (Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate) installed. We do not support any of the Windows Vista or Windows 7 "Home" editions. Hard drive space is normally not an issue, but warehouses that have a lot of transactions will need more space. We recommend high-speed Internet access for updates. If the program is to be installed on a network, we recommend a wired ethernet network running at at least 100Mbps (wireless networks are not supported).

Answer: Any one can do it...click the Download link on any Storage Master web page. The installation process is simple. If you are installing the program on a network, be sure to select your network drive letter when prompted by the installation process. Otherwise, allow the installation process to install the program to drive C:, which is the default.

Answer: We train new installations via web conferencing or over the phone. Up to 8 hours are included with your purchase. Additional training is available via web conferencing, phone, or on-site, on a fee basis.

Answer: Any accounting package that can accept an external file. We have predefined layouts for QuickBooks, PeachTree, AccPac, and WAMS. If you use another package, please contact us...we may be able to create an export layout for you.

Answer: Storage Master Pro interfaces with handheld scanners by exporting files to them and importing files from them. Because of this, Storage Master Pro will work with any scanner that can produce and receive files in the general formats that the program can understand. The specifics of the formats are controlled by inbound and outbound layouts, which are user-adjustable, and which we can help create.

Answer: Yes. The "pallet balance" feature can track incoming pallets on Receiving Orders, and outgoing pallets on Shipping Orders. A separate "pallet balance" is kept for each customer.
